    Got the ATO today got it connected. Got the check valve installed. I think the tank is cycling. I have diatems showing up on the crushed coral. But the ph is 8.4 ammonia is 0 nitrites are 0 and nitrates are 0 to. Any ideas why they would show up again?

    Guess maybe the sand was a little cruddy and that is starting up a little mini cycle?

    Thanks corailline. Looking back at the pictures the carpet has grown almost double in size.

    Thanks oldfishkeeper. I got him last summer when he was about the size of a 50 cent piece.
