    Thanks!

Actually we have had the LEDs for a while now - just been so busy here at work (luckily!!!!) that we have not had time to do them. Looks like within the next few weeks we will quiet down a little bit and get them in!

Most certainly will include updated pics when they go in!

Hey sorry I missed ur post!
The coral 7th from the top is a small colony of some zoas - call them what you will orange sunburst or some fancy fruity title or another. They were from Midwest Frags. Purchased them in April and they have since taken off. Most of the zoas in the tank are from Midwest Frags or 10dollarfrags. (Both excellent sponsors on this site!)

As for the tangs . . . we are kind of on a holding pattern on tangs. To me, with the lack of skimmer in the tank it seems every tang we have put in the tank has done poorly. They all seem to get HLLE rapidly and are prone to ICH.

I am thinking of going more in the direction of reef-safe Wrasses - the tank is such that the canopy would prevent escaping jumpers. Tho I do love the look of the tanks - until we get a skimmer on this system I don't think it's quite the right choice.

    Thanks Steve!

And very true on the looking forward to getting back to the office - and on weekends I get to do the testing, dosing and fiddling with frags that have fallen or shifted during the week. Monday's it's always nice to see the tank in all of its glory after a day or two off.

Then of course during the week are the multiple daily feedings. Cleaning the glass every other day. Topping off freshwater once a week and all of the other little tasks that come with keeping a large tank like this. But I would say that for all of it's size - there is really minimal upkeep even having no skimmer. Just large bi-weekly water changes and low bioload keep this tank in check.

Sure is - I think earlier in this thread there is a pic of the fish guy and the boss' son standing inside the tank. It's a beast! Custom made many moons ago . . .
