    Since I'm very fond of clams and amazed by there color and presence the add to a tank I figured it's time to have a show off your tridacna thread. I'll start the show:) This is my large squamosa I've had for about 4 years and my maxima I've had for 2. It's amazing that the squamosa was only 3" when I got him. 20150422_165545.jpg

    I'm saving my nickels for a new clam for the cube! I am going to wait a bit, but it's going to happen.

    Do you see more calcium uptake with clams hanging around your reef?

    Zesty, can't wait to see the clam you pick bud. I have to dose calcium frequently now since my squamosa is big. When they were tiny I didn't notice it much but as they grow they are calcium guzzlers.
    Vinny, thanks for the comment man. I really do appreciate it. Hopefully one day we can see a clam in your tank that herbie likes to chill on. Lol
