So on my second day of the cycle the waters cloudiness has started to clear up woo! I will do some tests later this evening and report any change in results. I do have a question though has anyone experienced getting white dots on the glass of the aquarium? In all of my tank cycling I haven't seen anything like them, I thought maybe they were bacteria forming but it would seem odd for only the 2nd full day of cycling.

Well I turned on the lights today to check out the tank and I have a little diatom algae on the sand. I guess the cycle is starting, I will do water tests tonight after work and post any changes.

Thanks for the website and the kind words. I added it to my favorite websites lol. Those white things wiped right off with a sponge and they havent come back so I dont know what they were. Also I really like the fish I have too although that female clown is very protective of her anenome, I may add one more down the road but they are cramped now in that 10 gallon so I'm waiting until after the change over.

Found this little booger wandering across the sand tonight, in the water he looked like a fire worm but now that i have him out he looks more like a standard bristle worm.

Better safe than sorry in this hobby.

It stinks because the two pieces of live rock Im using to seed the tank have both had some sort of hitch hiker and they started as dry rock and I put them in my sump for about 3 months. So I guess ill have to keep an eye on the other live rock in the sump. My other rock has a blue green mushroom which must have got sucked up in the overflow and reattached in the sump, not a bad hitch hiker but not what I wanted to see in the tank during a cycle.
