    if you have or for those who have a 30 gallon FOWLR tank what kind or types of fish do you have or you want to put on it and how many?

    psuedochromis or dottyback.

    if no shrimp: a toby(mini puffer)
    a 6 line wrasse.
    swales swissguard basslet

    type of clown.

    maybe some clown gobies

    the blue damsel is going to be a pain in the neck when you start to get other fish.. I would try to trap him and get credit at the LFS for other "nicer" fish.

    Not in my experience, I know fish vary in character even within same species , but aside from initial showing out, YTBS adapt quickly
    and only bother with new fish when new fish encroaches on established territory

    now Dominos, and humbugs are different, and those damsel species can hound new additions chasing them around all areas of the tank

    As I say , its varies from individual fish to fish

    how much "territory" is in a 30 gallon tank??? I would never put a damsel in my tank, other than chromis

    a single rock head suffices in some cases as territory for the YTBS I have had and its that single rock , where they hide and rest up for the night etc, that they protect the most - IME

    subsequent additions have been investigated, displayed in front of but not bullied and not chased

    But Ill say it once more - other peoples experiences may be different to mine
