    Dont overdose Mag past 1450, I've been told that can make it impossible to achieve high DKH.

    When my Mag was at 1600, i could not get DKH above 8. Now with mag at 1400, i can get to 10-11.

    Lower salinity will make it harder to get higher DKH too. I'd keep it right at 1.025-1.026.

    P.S. Anyone else finds that Instant Ocean Reef Crystals salt mix creats pretty darn high mag levels? 1500+ for me every time i test water in bucket after mixing. I'll be switching salt for that reason. Just got a big bucket of Tropic Marin Pro Reef.

    Ok I jist tested my dkh and its at 7, but my ca is at 450 and mag 1280. Any suggestions on how to bring up dkh or alklanity.
