I've had a pair of Ocellaris clowns in my 55 gal for about a year now. I have no idea to tell if they are "paired" or not. Anyways, I would really like to add a black and white Ocellaris. I would just like to know if I can successfully keep all 3 happy, or if the chances are in my favor.

I've asked around 8 different LFS's and a bunch of other reef keepers I know; they all give me very different answers.

As long as the third is smaller than the other two, you can add it. There will be some aggression shown toward the newbie just until he gets the idea of who's boss then things will settle down.

Ok thanks! I was gonna make sure it was a male smaller than my female. Hopefully the one I want is still at the store. I've held out so long because I cannot stand the orange face.
