I'm in the process of researching for my 75g aggressive fowlr, and I need some direction. I purchased the wet/dry filter with the set-up, normal wet/dry, sponge and bioballs. I have some experience with building a sump/fuge, also have an extra 29g that would make a perfect candidate. Just wondering if I should use the wet/dry or should I build a sump/fuge?

Use the wet/dry as a sump/fuge and ditch the bio balls and go with live rock rubble.

Baffles, plastic or glass. Google diy sump/refugium. If I can build one, anyone can!! Seperate chambers if you have room is what I'm getting at.

Build a sump/fuge out of the 30g. Don't even mess with converting a W/D. And don't put rock rubble in it. If you do then that is just another ditritus trap you have to clean. Grow macro and put is a DSB.

I wonder how much I could sell the sealife 125 w/d for?
It has a crack but doesn't leak, if that makes any sense...

My first two chambers are stuffed with live rock rubble. So much flow going on, no chance for anthying to settle. Fuge has a seven inch sand bed with Chaeto.
