It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Your right I saw that. I figured you picked that type of clown because it could stand up to the basselet. I am not very objective about clownfish because I think they are great fish.

I guess the issue I see is that clownfish are much easier to remove than a basslet. My experience with basslet has been that as they get older the meaner they get, they certainly have the teeth for it. I like the chalk basslet and have heard they are pretty passive for basslet.

The gobies on the list are great and I like the cling fish.

    No dwarf angels this time?

I'm partial to the dwarf angel. I was going to go with it even though it was "reef safe with caution", but then i remember my CB, did eat a fan worm. So..idk. If I do get another CB, I won't get the Cinnamon Clown. I want one main fish with a "bunch" of smaller fish.

Well the Cave transparent goby is out. It's not from the region of the indo-pacific, but farther west. So here's the two lists I have come up with...

Cinnamon Clown, Yellow Stripe Clingfish pair, Swales Swissguard Basslet, Flaming Prawn Goby = 13”

Note: I don't know where I would be able to get a flaming prawn goby. I have never seen one at my LFS & I think I would be scared to have such a fragile fish shipped in the mail.Maybe I ould see if my LFS would do a special order?

Cinnamon Clown, Yellow Stripe Clingfish pair, Swales Swissguard Basslet, Wheel Shrimp Goby pair = 17”

My thoughts: Would this be too much as far as the bioload? It's a 29g tank with a 10g sump w/ fuge and skimmer. Each type of fish has it's own swimming area where it likes to be(open waters, sand bed, rocks, etc.) The ones I have multiples of will get a long in groups.
