Thanks for the suggestion. I recently found out that the cube needs new lights. That was a deal breaker. hello craiglist! I'm looking at a couple different cube shaped tank models as well. Any suggestions?

For another 76 dollars you can get a brand new one from foster and smith

I have heard really good things about this one too but its only a 24 gallon but it is only 59 dollars more than what you were originally going to pay

5 gallons less and 59 dollars more. I think I will probably still go with a biocube, albeit a new one

I have the Aquapod 24 gallon...I like it a lot...I have limited space in my house and thought it would make a nice accent too...

I really like the option of the lighting with HQI MH...

I think every "all in one" will need some sort of upgrade...but not all mods are difficult...and everyone has their own opinion as if it is a good or bad set up...it's what works for you...LIke my flow isn't sufficent but that is an easy fix...everything else works fine :)

Thanks for the info. I would do some modding to the biocube (auto waterchange/topoff, different filtration.

If you can find a LFS then you can just skip the middle man :)

Thank you very much for doing all the work to find out for me! I really appreciate it. I think I will compare prices (including shipping etc.) then decide.
