Most would probably say that adding a Nem this soon is pushing it. Its never a good deal if it dies!

24 is about average for one that's that tiny. Looks like its in pretty decent shape tho.
9 months would be ok imo as long as params have been stable for a while. Even if that did end up not making it(let's hope not) I doubt it would cause your tank to crash like a bigger one could.

Looks cool, they do grow so who cares about the size. I would have rather that little guy for 24 than the huge monstrosity thats in my tank now for 45. Well my wife bought it so I guess it was free.

The tank has been stable for quite some time. I have been throwing around the Idea of a nem for quite some time so I decided to the take the risk. Its maybe about quarter sized or so, i like to buy things pretty small so i can watch them grown.

This is untrue but unfortunately to widespread and repeated. I don't know where the guideline for anemones and 12 month+ came from, but it certainly makes no sense to me...What is the difference between a 2 month established tank and an 8 month established tank? Also, anemones aren't SPS. Anemones like "dirtier" water and some nitrates. I'm in no way suggesting that an anemone should be added to a freshly cycled tank, but established is established.

Also skurious, is that anemone glued? What size is it and what color is the foot?

The Anemone isnt glued down. I put that frag plug there and placed it there as a place for it to start is search and its stayed there.......kinda weird, I expected ito get all up in my birdnest or something. LOL

LOL, the frag plug had me worried. I've heard too many stories about people gluing nems...
What size and what color is the foot?
