300 without a doubt. The 265 is a foot longer but there is more space in the 300 over all. And 1 foot in length isnt going to make much difference in that big of a tank. 40 more gallons will always make a difference :)

Question: do you have the money to afford all the upgrades for a 265 and 300? I would imagine you would however I think it's a very important factor in this.

Also, where are you going to place it once you get it to your house? Will you need additional supports?

Go with your first impression for that will be the right one for you (me I'd go with the 300 :) )

    Decision has been made!!

I went with the 265 gallon. It is a perfecto tank, so it will have the corner overflows, which means I will have full two feet from front to back. This was deterring me because I have a 120g Aqueon right now and the overflows are the megaflows and they get in the way, but once I found out it was corner my decision was pretty easy.

The 300DD is an awesome size, but the three feet front to back, PLUS having it off the wall about a foot will take up a LOT of space, which I just have to realize I do not have, without rearranging and cramming things, which I dont want to do.
