Hey 3reef. Well heres my official before and after. it wouldnt be what it is today if it werent for you guys and gals.

The no algae thing is not because the tank hasnt cycled, and not because i just scoured the tank clean. I have not touched the glass or rocks in a little over 2 weeks. I have 2 phosphate reactors going, a HEAVY duty skimmer, a ro/di system, and great water flow. So algae control is going very well, which was literally the only reason why i decided to redo this tank, about 6 months ago; algae problems ;D The worst algae i had to clear off was diatoms and every now and then i still do.

Thanks a lot 3reef, couldnt have done it without you. The before picture was on 10-4-2009. I started cycling the tank on 11/01/09. for all that are curious, specs of the tank are in my signature. I plan on going up to my 45 minute away lfs ASAP and get one more fish and start up with some sps. Have had my mag and cal at steady levels for a while now. Enjoy!

EDIT: And yes, this is the same exact tank and stand. Just some new rock, and sand, and everything else ;)

EDIT 2: please, click on the picture to enlarge it!

Wow, what a transformation! Glad to see you've stuck with it. This hobby can be very frustrating at times.
