I have to say.. that is one of the best planned and executed tanks I have seen in a long time. You didn't skimp on any part of it.

Thanks, I'm a soon to be Architect :p still studying
I'm already thinking what my next tank will be and I'm totally convinced I want a 36" x 36" x 20" kinda cubish. Just built one like that for a guy a couple of weeks back and I love the dimensions.

The controller wasn't built by me. It was designed and built from a guy at RC. I tried myself with an Arduino and working with the codes but I sucked. That's why I ended up buying this one which is super cool. My LED lamp is still a work in process... I just ordered today some True Violet 420nm LEDs to swap for Royal Blues. Anyway, a lamp like this should be somewhere close to $350 worth of basic materials (Heatsink, drivers, LEDs, fans, wires) however, with all the changes, improvements and all I've done to my lamp including controller I must be close to $500

Thanks all for the kind comments :D glad you all liked it

    Hey sammi,
You have got me wanting to build a similar tank haha. Anyways. Since you apparently build tanks often, would you mind sharing how you get good bonds with glass? Just using silicone? maybe a special kind? Sorry, i've just built my first arylic sump, and was wondering how you make the glass so strong using rimless... Thanks for sharing any tips and tricks you've learned.
