Well because the pet store didn't give me 2 males (I specifically wanted the male sail fin molly and didn't specify the sex of the other one) I now have the 2 adults and somewhere between 15-18  fry in my 46gallon bow front.

So I'll have to get them out eventually :-/(don't really want them in my 46....aghhhhhh) when caught they will be acclimated down in salinity to be put in the brackish water tank.

Don't you just love trying to catch fish in and amongst your rock and corals?

wow. that's cool though. I've never had my mollies spawn in SW.
It may be almost impossible to catch all of em out without removing some rocks:cheesy:

Thanks...they had 3 ,that we saw, when they were in the 20 gallon nano tank. One is left alive so we'll see how many actually make it to a size I can catch (the Pukani rock has a lacework kind of structure with lots of holes for hiding in).

True but it's to be a seahorse tank with other NICE & peaceful fish so I'd have to get the predator out .
The ones in the nano had a 1/3 survival rate so that means I may end up with just 6 babies (if they survive @ the same rate) and the 2 adults to get out. Think I'll get the momma out now so she can't have more in there.
mmmmmmm.....wonder how small a hook I can buy....anyone for fishing in my tank??? LOL

Yeah I'll probably end up investing in one.
They don't hand feed yet. I love the ones that do, makes it so much easier to catch them. ;D
