    You have a great looking reef, they are not very precise. Save up for a bm-101 or if you have a controller, brs pumps.

    Ive never followed up on this. Thanks for the screenshot!

    Ive just ordered the same TLF CDX media from BRS. Id like to stabilize my pH a bit more, since it goes up to 8.5+ and then rollercoasters down to like 7.86.. Ill keep you updated :D

    Thanks for the heads up. It's not the money. It's the space. I have no room under my stand to mount anything.

    I'll have to take another look at it though.

    Good luck! I've had good success with it so far. As long as I remember to change it out. :)

    Same stuff. Much cheaper.

    The BRS pumps are relatively small, and can be used well with your APEX. The BM-101 is also pretty tiny and controls itself.

    My daughter had a sleep over last night, and ended up with 13 of them sleeping in the basement next to the tank. CO2 absorption media was overloaded with that many breathing bodies down there. Woke up to a pH of 8.03 when it's normally about 8.3. New media in place and start working it back up. :)
