    Sorry for the poor quality. Grabbed some quick photos before the lights went out.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    It's actually filling a lot faster than I thought it would. All the corals look very colorful and healthy.

    Looking awesome! great growth too. Do you think you can post a screenshot of pH log graph off Apex when you have a chance?

    Thanks a bunch. Hoping to pick up a piece or two this weekend at the frag swap. Might get a yellow scroll coral for the flat rock right above the acans.

    :) You'll get there soon enough. Your build is coming along great.

    Thanks Shin. I'll go plug in the laptop and see if I can figure out how to download the data. I don't have it hooked up to wireless yet, so not sure how to capture and post.

    APEX pH Graph

    Here's a 7-day graph of the APEX pH.

    The CO2 scrubber keeps it pretty tight between 8.3 and 8.4. I'm not sure what the event is that happens every day at 11:00 to cause that steep drop. Will have to dig into that.

    You can see on April 14 where my media ran out and I didn't catch it. Reloaded it and everything ramped back up nicely. Screwed up and left my fuge light in the "On" instead of "Auto" position while I was traveling this week (starting 4/15). That's why the pH ramped up so high during the last few days. Caught it tonight.

    The sharp drop down and then right back up on 4/12 and again tonight is me manually dosing sodium bicarbonate. The whole tank doesn't drop like that. It's just due to where I add it in relation to my probe. That should go away when my aqualifter gets here and I start dosing.

    Not sure if 8.3-8.4 is too high or not. If so, I may add a second scrubber bottle, but leave it full of depleted media. That way, half the air will be scrubbed and half won't. Should drop me down into the 8.2 range.

    EDIT: The grid lines on the graph are 8.1 to 8.5

    Just hangin' out... He must have sat there for a good half hour. Catching food that went by after I fed the fish. :)

    Starting to take shape. Still not much coralline, but starting to see it in a few spots on the galss and rock.

    Current params are...

    SG = 1.025
    pH = 8.3-8.4
    Ca = 470 (working it down to 450-460)
    Mg = 1410
    Alk = 8.7 dKH (not sure where to go with this or if I should hold it here)
    Phos = not measurable
    Nitrate = undetectable (on API kit)

    I know its been a long time since I've been on your thread but man your tank is looking awesome. As for the ALK being at 8.7 dKh, that's fine. You should start seeing good growth with those parameters.

    Thanks Bruh.

    Looks like you're making progress too. Knees doing OK?
