    Try some Microbacter7 for a couple of weeks and see if the algae dies back.

    After researching a bit lastnight I figured what my problem was. I recenlty replaced my return pump in my sump. New plastic=silicates=my recent diatom out break. Did a major water change lastnight inlcuding lightly cleaning the top of the sand. Hope its gone! But if not I will try some of that stuff. Thanks
