120 watt cree fixture

hey hey I have a question I am setuping a 120gal 4x2x2. I am looking at 2 of these fixtures. the biggest question are they controllable to like using a reefkeeper and controlling them that way. so I can do dusk to dawn.

 

if you buy the upgrade, includes meanwell drives and allows them to be used with a controller. 299.99 0-10v dimming and you can get 120, 90, or 60 deg optics.

 

What he said, I would reccomend 90 deg optics. Using the alc, a dawn/dusk effect can be programmed.

 

how much is the upgrade can i am looking at diy vs buying 2 of these.

 

The upgrade is $99 per fixture, as the meanwell drivers alone will run $70 per fixture

 

also take into acount with the reefbreeders fixture, its under warranty for 2 years so if anything goes wrong wrong you are covered vs diy you have to buy the parts your self and fix it. On top of that reefbreeders is in a casing, so it looks nice and will keep your components better protected than a diy that is exposed as most i have seen including the one i built.
