hey i have a 29g nano reef, and i was going to sell my frags once they get big. But i was wondering how a 10g tank for frags would work out and what should i get for it. thanks

As long as you keep up with it and keep everything really stable I think it should be fine! Do you have anything for it yet or will it be a bare start?

I think if your going to be running the 10g separate from your nano it will be hard to control water perimeters. if your using the 10g in-line with the nano i dont see an issue so long as you have some good lighting and current in the 10g not much different then operating a fuge. the shallower the tank the better for light penetration and make sure you keep some room between aggressive corals in such a small tank.

It wouldn't hurt..But personally I would just go with weekly water changes..that's what I do on my 10 gallon. Would you have a sump by any chance?

without having a sump or an overflow it would be difficult to connect the 2 tanks. +1 for the weekly water changes without sump, but youll still need a filter unit and a powe head for circulation.

2 would be a little over 20% with the rock displacement..so 1 or 2 per wc
