10 gal frag tank?

Well just kinda thinking out loud and this prob won't happen for awhile but...

What do you guys/girls think about a 10 gal frag tank?
Like I said not doing it now I made a frag rack for my 65 hex but just thinking.

As some of you may know I recently tore down my 10gal freshwater tank so I already have the tank itself.

Im thinking of upgrading the lights on my hex to t5 so I would have the light since it adjustable and my hex is only 24" wide. so 130w of pc over a 10 gal haha prob wouldn't even have to make a egg crate thing.

basically I would just have to get

thinking a cheap aquatraders oddysea hob refugium/skimmer thing. prob run carbon in that aswell

maybe a k evo 1050

some sand and a pump for the hob refuge

I would also do weekly wcs

so yeah how does that sound?

like I said prob won't happen soon maybee the end of summer or something

 

sounds good to me. i trade frags wsith my lfs all the time. i get 10 bucks for a good frag of GSP nad ten for a good frag of palys. im gonna use that to try and get a trigger this weekend. or some fish for my 55 rather. good luck.

 

thanks yeah ill prob do that and trade and sell them on my local reef club forums. Im also going to try to get a job a publix this summer so Ill have money for a TEK light ;D

i agree! ive always wanted a smaller tank just for frags. some day ill get it.

I might up up getting the mr aqua 12 long and use the 10gal as a refuge
