    Should i quit my hobby?

    i dont think so, i have seen tanks at below 7 not do whats happened to yours. i turn my skimmer off for 2-3 days a week and have no issues without it.

    +1 ... 100% agree there should AT LEAST be a couple of powerheads that agitate the waters surface. even without a skimmer ... 7.8 is NOT THAT BAD,...
