    If your LR didn't have alot of die off then it could have cycled in 6 days but I would throw in a raw shrimp to boost the cycle into an even larger...

    Well, the mushroom things you see are probably just that, mushroom coral. And the other sounds like either a small colt coral or kenya tree coral.
