    i'd get cured so there is less stress on your live stock. usually your lfs will cure it 3 wks before putting it up for sale.

    if its going in a tank with living things already in it you should use already cured rock and add in small amounts at a time to prevent a big cycle.

    how to stack live rock?

    my bottom row of rock is built into caves so more water can contact the sand but the rest is stacked best i can and it does touch the back glass...
