    Thanks... Got up this morning and it looks a bit healthier but it has been in the retracted state for at least 24 hours now. Hopefully it'll be Ok.

    I've got Metal Halide lighting. The best description I can give is that all the tentacles seem stuffed inside, with only about an inch protruding....

    I know (now) about the time needed for a tank to mature more before putting in an anemone but I was assured by the LFS that it would be fine......

    The bulbs had been replaced in April - though I only have the former owner's word on that... Everything else in the tank - Candy cane, grape corals...
