    Sounds like It may of too deep in the sump.... My sump only runs 6 to 8" tops... If you look at the water outs, one is up and other is down i keep it...

    I was told by lfs that a uv is a must for reef tanks,I did not buy it there, but I have been running it 24-7 since I got it. Should I turn it off?
