    needs some ideas on getting water crystal clear

    A good skimmer, A magnum 250 with micron filter & a UV Sterilizer should help. Like Raven said carbon helps alot too.

    UV, good or bad?

    Different manufacturers have different recomendations for bulb replacments. I have seen some that say 6mo and some that say 18mo.

    UV, good or bad?

    I have used a UV sterilizer for well over a year now and I have no complaints other than having to replace the UV bulb every year (kinda exspensive).

    Powerhead blowing bubbles
