Hmm okay, are the bulbs expensive?
+1 on glasscages.com they do nice work
Welcome! lets see some photos of this tank!
I wasn't sure if the same applied to sterilizers as applied to skimmers, double recommended, however, with all these mixed reviews im not sure if it...
Yeah I just looked it up and it's rated for 250gallons, way way overkill
Thanks! I wasn't sure if it was even worth it! Sounds like a waste of money
So a local guy is selling a brand new 18w coralife turbo twist sterilizer dirt cheap, are there pros and cons for using one on a reef?
I would use the reef octopus bh-2000, that skimmer is a beast, the one you listed is good but under rated for your 125
Hahahaha! Im here to answer questions of offer moral support only ;D
Beautiful tank, what lighting?
I as well, I have done that exact move a couple times, not with a tank quite as big but mostly 125 gallons
Lookin good!!
I am speechless, your tank is absolutely amazing
Ya it all just depends on your space! Are you planning to use these? Maybe a coast to coast overflow?
I like the scape! itll look amazing when its full of corals!
I vote the nut on the outside! That's how I have all my tanks
Another option is to use a nice oak skin and just clearcoat it, I love the look of my stand its raw oak with a clearcoat
It's a decent light with the right bulbs, in the long run I think the LEDs would have suited you better, but I'm glad you're happy with your choice...
Maybe 225?
I see the same amount of growth and even more growth with some of my corals since making the leap to led, completely happy with my decision
