    I think you should just keep a thin decorative layer of sand syphoned every now and then, with a sand sifting fish or two.. Not the end of the world.

    I think you should get both I would run BioPellets instead of carbon, they are more effective, and get a good nano skimmer since you have fish....

    I dont think one panorama module is enough, But with a bit more you can get 2 boostled par30 bulbs which are pretty cheap and effective.

    I think LEDs are the way to go,, Think about it No heat No bulb replacement Sleek and Small design Powerful lighting (could keep anything)...

    For SPS, it's not an overkill if you properly acclimate corals. You are better off with LEDs for a small tank, no heat and can keep any SPS without...
