    Well got the new tank I will get pictures up as soon as I can but here is the equipment I went with

    1-Conch
    5-hermits
    3-snails

    CORAL
    Ricordea Mushrooms
    War Coral
    Rasta Frag
    Green Zoa Rock
    Purple/pink Zoa Rock
    7-8 Headed Duncan
    War Paint scoly

    Congrats, sounds wonderful.

    Go with the LTA. Carpets are my favorite but they come with a ton of risk, they get huge and they are fish eaters. You'll be putting any fish other then a clown at risk putting it in a smaller tank with a carpet. Leave your options open for other fish types.

    do you mean no clowns? or no carpet so I can keep a few other fish?

    one thing to keep in mind - maroons are vicious - especially the gold striped. If you go with that type, you'll be limited on any future fish additions. They are beautiful though so I totally understand your attraction to them.

    If you go with a carpet anemone, clowns and domino damsels might reside in the carpet. Other fish will have to give the carpet a wide berth which is hard in a smaller tank. All another fish has to do is lightly touch the anemone and that fish is dinner.

    Thanks for the info corailline I really appreciate it! the LFS I deal with also told me the same thing about the carpet and told me LTA might be a better option on this tank

    well I have been super busy sorry for no updates the tank has been up and running since June 8th everything is running good ready for some fish will probably pick them up next week some time I threw a few corals from my other tank in it and man let me tell you this light is the real deal they never looked anything like they do now in the other tank.....I will have pics up in the next day or so!
