I have a 30 gal, with a porcupine puffer in it. I just noticed a whole bunch of white specks real tiny in the tank. Does anyone know what they might be?
This is a well established tank. I do keep copper in it to keep my fish from getting sick, and these specks seem like they are moving. Thanks for any help.

I would suspect copepods which are quite beneficial. If there are arms spread out radially, it would be hydroids which is a sign of excess nutrients.

I was going to guess copepods too, but was wondering about the copper. The level must not be too high. Do the seem to move in tiny "jerks"? Do you have LR or corals? If so, they probably hitch hiked in on it. Copepods are good. :)
