I have just upgraded to a 75 gallon (48x20x18) from a 10 gallon nano, the 10 was too hard to keep up with. And I am know planning out my fish stock for the 75. I have two solid black and white Ocellaris from the nano tank and I want this to be a peaceful tank and eventually a reef tank.

    What do you think?

    2 B & W Ocellaris (already have)
Anemone???? I am scared about killing corals (520 watt lights)
    3-4 Drawf angels or Tangs
    2-3 Pajama Cardinals
1 Mandarin fish (already decided on this just waiting til it is 100% established)
Assortment of snails and blue legged hermit crabs

    Thanks for the help

Congrats on move to 75. I would think you have more then enough light for an anemone.

Don't understand about "killing corals"

3-4 Drawf angels or Tangs - in a 75 is a bit much.

Go slow adding new fish to tank.

Good idea on waiting to add mandarin.

Well I know anemone's move around he tank and can sting other corals and I also do not want to be dissapointed if the clowns do not host it, being the only reason I would get an anemone. thanks for the help

Well I found a pretty good size purple tip anemone at the LFS and picked up along with some coral. I got it home acclimated it for an hour an put it in the tank, in hopes that my clown will host it, it started puffing up and started looking good and then a anemone crab craws out and scares the **** out of me. Now my question is should I toss the crab because I figure with a crab in there the clown will not touch it???

Hard to say about the crab+clowns...but I'd keep the crab and lose the clowns :) MUCH cooler symbiotic relationship IMO

I don't know if your clowns will host a purple tip.

    Mine sure love BTA's.

There is room in your tank for more then one anem. ;)
