What livestock do you have in the tank? How many fish/coral?

bout 10 fish stoney dominated, only did 5 a week in my 110 and 125 and they were on fire, i tore the 2 down and combined in my 210 so i figured ill jus do 10 a week to keep up with what I have been doing.

You can make that work, but IMO, you will need a good skimer and not over stock. Ideally, you will want more like 15-20 gallons a week, but I would do what you've been doing and see how your tank responds.

I would be more concerned about replenishing chemicals that your hard corals need than being overstocked or not. At the very least you are going to need to dose calcium.

    +1 on everything said above
parameters and water quality are the governing factor on how much and how often

Im doing 5% weekly on my SPS dominated 5ft - but dosing and testing on a weekly basis
to make sure Mag, Calc and DKH stay where I want them

I think bigger bi-monthly 10%+ WC & testing would be the route I'd do.

i over skim actually skimmer is rated for 300 gals, and all i do is dose kalk, i believe in keeping it simple, i maintain my ca and alk and ph, with very very simple means. its worked for four years with my 125 and my 110, so ill think ill stick with what has been working for me (wat i usually do anyway) but the topic came up here at my house the other day so i figured id pick yalls minds a bit and compare as I always listen and take bits and piece and form a game plan ! thanks guys !

Thought I would chime in here. This article pretty much covers most aspects of water changes.
