I have a 55g plastic drum and I'm curious what size powerhead I should put in there to keep the water moving? Would something around 150gph enough or should I use a koralia 750?

Your not keeping anything in it right?

Would this a mixing tub for salt water? OR jsut a RO/DI water tub basically?

You wouldn't need a high flow powerehead, just something to get a little movement in there.

But you wouldn't need a powerhead in there for rodi water if you can get an air-tight lid on the container.

I would suggest maybe a 425 powerhead, or the 750, if you already have it.

I use a small air pump and bubble stone to keep things moving in my 40 gallon water reservoir.
