    I made the hour long trip to the marine supply store and bought a test kit. Much to my dismay the instruction booklet was missing... I do intend on buying another one, or returning this one... but in the mean time I was able to test the water using the cards provided...

    PH =8.3
    NO_2= 0PPM
    NO_3=10PPM
    Amonia=0PPM

    I have 40 lbs of live sand and 40lb LR

    Where should these #'s be?

    This is day 5
    I have been told multiple different waiting periods ranging from 4 days to 6 weeks.
