Just checked water parameters as I lost my open brain coral, here's the results:

    ph 8.0
    Alk 7.7dkh
    mg 1200
    nitrate 2 or below
    calcium 450
    salinity 1.024 -1.025

that's all i've ever tested for...ph i would like to see a tad higher as with mg too, but nothing doesn't seem to drastically out of place. if I am missing something please let me know, just assuming lost coral due to it was time for him to move on out of the tank. Let me know what you think about my parameters, thanks!

Alkalinity is low. Try for at least 9. 10 would be good. As stated Mag should be boosted a little.

I believe both because Calcium is indirectly proportionate to AlK so if you raise one the other will drop.
