That is so cool. Doesn't that put a lot of stress on the tank tho?

IMO, the MP20 will be too small for that tank, get the MP40 and you'll be good to go. I've also found that if you intend to use it to make waves like that video you really can't have anything in the way b/c that will block the water and prevent the wave from forming, so don't get your hopes up too much. I love my Mp40 on my 55 and can't wait to upgrade to get another one.

I've read people have recommended that tanks that have wavemakers in them like in the video may not last as long as otherwise but of course it's impossible to say for sure. If your tank should normally be replaced in 10 or 20 years maybe it will need to be replaced every 6 or 15 years or something. Just made up numbers and everything, I would contact your manufacturer to see what they say is probably safest.

Also I would probably go with an MP40 as well, to take care of extra flow because of rock and as coral grow in etc. You might be able to get by with the MP20 though, it's up to you if you want to risk having too little flow and having to get another powerhead or returning it and getting a bigger powerhead I guess.

Take my advice with a grain of salt though I guess because I'm putting 2 MP40's in my 75, but I think I may scale them back a bit. :)
