Thought I would give this its own thread, so it doesn't get lost in the other one. If your computer was attacked by a virus the other day here is what I did to get clean up my computer.

Okay, here's what I did, because I got hit with a "security" virus too. Worked for me, worth a try! This is for windows as your operating system.

1.) Restart your computer. As soon as anything appears on your screen, start tapping the F8 key. When options appear, select "safe mode with networking." Hit the return key and your computer will start up in safe mode.
2.) Click this link: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com...mbam-setup.exe and this free program will download. The program is called Malware Bytes.
    3.) Install the program
4.) The program will do some updates (you may have to OK this) and then an option screen will appear. Select Perform Full Scan and then hit Scan.
5.) Malware will scan your computer for infected files. This can take awhile.
6.) When then scan is finished a message box pops up telling you it's all done, select OK.
7.) Your infected files will be shown on the next screen. Make sure all the check boxes are selected and hit Remove Selected.
8.) Once that's done a log will appear in notepad. You can save that if you want, or just close it.
    9.) You're finished!

Hope this works!!! Let me know if you have any questions.
