vacation

hello, in about 3 weeks i am going on a vacation for 2 weeks. i am going to vietnam so i am going far away. what should i do in avanced to prepare my tank for me not being there. i am having my friend come over but he doesnt know much about aquriums. thnks

teach them how to do a wc. how to top off your tank (idk how you do this), maybe clean your skimmate out... leave a feeding schedule and tell them your lighting schedule in case it goes on you.(worst case) better safe than sorry. Um leave a number to your most trusted LFS just in case shít hits the fan. Tell em to check on it every day at least every 2...

Better make sure you really trust this friend, tanks are very susceptible to changes, and 2 weeks is enough to do a lot. you could end up seriously hating your friend (depending on how close/ how much you love your tank and its inhabitants) if your like me i would prolly drop kick my friend in the face if i came back to GHA or something.

point being ive seen friends f up tanks before, just choose wisely my friend. Most importantly have a safe trip and a good one. I wanna go to Nam' back where my grandpappy laied his life down for this country. But thats not relevant.
