Twitching Clowns? and pics

    I took a couple of pics of my Clarkii clowns in my BTA this morning, so cute I thought I would share.
    My question is what are the clowns doing when they kinda twitch or quiver near each other?
    BTY the clowns are Clark and Kent, and the BTA is Louise.

    clowns twitch when they are "flirting" with each other or they are displaying dominance i believe

    i believe the twitching is the submissive behavior being shown to the larger female. The smaller male is submitting.

    i think you're right, i might have it backwards. both my clowns do it so i'm not sure which it is. i've pretty much given up trying to explain clowns

    The smaller of the two is the male and when it twitches it is letting the female know that she is the dominant fish.

    Thanks guys thats good to know, I was begining to think the BTA was stingning them or something because they do it in the anemone.
