    I order the TDS-3 Handheld Meter With Carrying Case.
    After I get it what do you guys think an acceptabe TDS reading should be? I used to buy bottled RO water at the food store before the RODI unit. I will measure that water as well as the water from the RODI unit. What numbers do people ususally get with 4 stage units? I have the Spectrapure Marine Pro.

    if its ro/di it should be 0. as far as just ro I'm not sure.
    like on my 5 stage I get 1 tds going in to the ro membrane and 0 coming out of the ro/di.

    Considering people use treated tap water, anything below 5 should be a good start. The best thing about having a TDS meeter is it can show you when your membranes/filters need to be replaced.
