get one of the new types that only will show under black and actinic lighting.

angler fish with its angle being a sun or star, and the rest of the fish is blacklight ink so you can only see in a club or working on your tank. lol

i thought it was similar to a continous beesting the difference was it doesnt hurt as bad once they move on to the next area. also it depends upon your guy, the outline needle hurts the most.

Yeah, I've heard from a small pinch to a bee sting...And I guess it really does depend on pain tolerance. We'll see!! The ones that show up under black light seem really cool...I'll have to ask around town to see who does the best!!

i'll be sure to post pictures when i get it done!

The tau tau in Tahiti was much more painful than the the other ink job I had done. I think the electric needle tingles more than anything at first. It feels like you're getting shocked by those electrodes that people take off of lighters to annoy their friends. After about an hour, then it just started to feel sore.

DO NOT USE THAT INK. There isn't a singlr brand of black light tatto ink that has been tested by the FDA. I know people that got bad infections from that ink (brand new needles where used and in a steril area), it's expensive, and fades faster than any other type of ink. I was going to get it my self but did some research and decided not to.

You should only get something that has a significant meaning to you. Do not get something because it looks cool. Do not get anything off the wall or out of a tattoo artists book. Get him to design something completley custom for you and make sure you like every detail. IMOP

Tattoo's are addicting. I got 4 of mine within 2 months and spent over 30 hours in the chair. I fell asleep at some point on all of mine, but there will be those tender areas that are going to sting a bit. Plus for about a week it is going to feal like you have a sun burn there. Showers are going to be fun. hahaha I personaly like the pain and if I had more money I would have alot more.

I have 5 tattoo's myself. A half sleeve, a arm band, a full calf piece, a large back piece, and a chest piece. Plus I have plans to get my dads family crest on my chest. I drew every tattoo I have and just let my tattoo artist mod them a little bit.

Hear is one of my arms, check out the rest on my myspace if you want.

ok ok ok a little update

I've been going around town talking to the different places that do tattoos and such. About everybody I've talked to have recommended a totally different place for totally different reasons. So once a place is determined, i shall get the inkage done!!

Thanks for the info Infantry...as well as everyone else!!:):)

when picking your tattoo artist, it is the style you want to look for. Some artists specialize in black and white, some color, some portraits and some lettering. So you should know what you want before you decide. Then look at there portfolio and see if there style suits your tattoo. You can also ask the artist what his specialty is and what his faviorite kind of tatto is. If the artist is excited about doing the piece then he will take more time and make it that much better. Rather than some artist that doesn't like the piece but just wants to make the money. It is also a good idea to let the artist make what ever changes he may like and give him a little freedom to become creative. They will like the piece that much more and give it more thought and care. My next tattoo has alot of color so my next artist will specialize in color and lettering.

Ermano Find a friend that is good at drawing and go over a few designs or a tattoo that would mean something and try and make it visual so you could see what it would look like. In My tattoo I had a the Ram done first and was off the wall just to get one and the lines were made a little fatter so it is not as detailed as I thought it would be. A few years latter I went to Tenn and this guys skills were so good that we came up with the other half. it took me some time to come up with that design. I got a plan for my left arm aswell.

I have 3 tattoos - a tropical fish (about the sie of a half-dollar) & a small sea horse. I'm also somewhat of a romantic. I didn't want to tattoo my husband's name on me - so I got a tattoo with his initials - SW - as part of a compass rose. I jokingly told the tattoo artist that if my husband & I ever split up, I'd just come back & get the rest of the intermediate & cardinal directions added! ;D
