I think that those signatures only show up on every other post.

This is not the same as what they are talking about.
What you have mentioned is a stock 3reef setting for 3reef member sigs - if you post more than once on a page of a thread, only your 1st post on the page will have your sig.

That tapatalk sig shows up everytime (in the post, not sig area) if the default setting is kept in the tapatalk browser.

I just know I don't give a flying freak in a rolling donut what people are posting with and it's irritating, and I'm glad the OP brought up the frustration. It's advertising and nothing else. The internet is nothing but ads nowadays.

Lol. You take life too seriously. I couldn't imagine such a small thing upsetting me.

Not sure who that's directed to, but everyone has the right to their own annoyances. Obviously you care enough to get involved, eh?

I don't see why I'd use tapatalk my Droid2 works just fine to post without it?

What makes it better than just using your device to post?

Bottom line: It uses far less bandwidth to load a given thread, and thus does it much faster.

    Long, detailed version:

If you look at the page on a web browser on your computer or phone, look at all the formatting stuff that's there. Every single tiny image needs to be downloaded every single time you visit a new page (there's probably about 100 of them on the advanced post page). That means the 3reef logo int he top right, every single line, every blue box with 3 words of text, every ad, every single "quote" button, everything. There's probably 10x more data to download in formatting information and "extras" than in the content of actual posts, if not more, and it gets downloaded every single time you visit a new page.

When you use tapatalk, you only download the content of the posts, and none of the "extra". Tapatalk has all the formatting built in for the way it displays the threads and everything else. So, it loads much faster since there's less to load.
