    Is an acrylic tank ok for a saltwater tank?

    YUP! just be super careful as it scratches SUPER easy! it also holds heat better so if using MH be careful!

    Yes but with consideration

    Acrylic scratches easier than glass , and with all the potentially sharp things we have in reef tanks that is worth considering
    sand trapped in magent -= scratches
    rock work during set up or addition touching glass = scratches
    Snail doing the shell, shine, shuffle (some rotate to clear debris of shells) = scratches

    so as long as your aware of the potentail for scratches - Acrylic tanks are OK for salt water
