The tank is up!!! We did a test run yesterday to ensure that there was no leaks and drained it, and tonight will be doing the aquascape and refilling it! We have not done the fish room idea yet, however it is plumbed for ease of transfering it when we finish the basement!

Going to try to go with no chiller for now as we are going into the winter, not sure how that will work though because of 4 250W mh! We do use an alternating time schedule for the lights so it may not be an issue.

will do tonight......it was a whirlwind yesterday. It is so much more organized already then the first time. Cords are put up properly :}, everything has a place...much less cluttered! I am hoping the cycle will not be too long however there was big bushel of rock in a rubbermade container with a powerhead...the water is smelly! However we did also place a lot of the rock in our other tanks!

    There's several St. Louisan's. LOL

One of the things I'm adding to her tank this time is this. Amazon.com: American DJ PC-100A 8 Channel Power Strip with Lighted Toggles: Musical Instruments: Reviews, Prices & more I know it seems odd to add DJ equipment to a reef tank. However, one of my experienced friends has used these for a couple years on his monster tank (in fact, he runs 2 of them) and they work well. Obviously it's being plugged into a GFCI, there will be drip loops and such.

Need to empty the skimmer, flip the switch. Need to change the GFO or the Carbon in the reactors, flip the switch. Need to feed LPS, flip the switch to turn off the really big Hydor Korallia's for a few minutes, and so on.
