So I had a frogspawn with two small heads, about 2 months ago one shriveled up never to be seen again, a week later the second head popped itself off of the skeleton. It floated around the tank for a few days finally settling in a hole in a rock. It was there for a week or so and still had its color and then it disappeared. Here we are a month later and this little frogspawn remnant has reappeared and attached itself to a leather coral. Has anyone heard of this, is it still alive?

It sounds like it just jumped out of its skeleton and one of them survived without getting any infections. But then again I am still new so thats just my opinion lol

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
What you describe is called "polyp bailout". If you do a search you will find more information about it. It is usually seen with the euphyllias, such as frogspawn, hammer...........
