Does anyone know how strong of a sting green star polyps have? I have a large rock of the green stars and I've noticed that some zoas that are nearby are not looking good lately. Everything else in tank is doing well. Thanks for any help.[IMG]

HA!!! Not to your situation, but to mine. I had an apthasia anenome residing on my GSP rock here for a bit, then it moved. I didn't know they were mobile. Maybe that was the reason. It was getting harshed out!!!

GSP's don't sting. It's probably agitating the zoas by moving into it's territory. Eventually taking over with the encrusting mat.

Thanks. It is about 18x18 inches on a great shelve piece. Got it for 40. Definately one of my favorite pieces. I have read on here that some people have problems with the polyps spreading out of control, but mine have only spread to it's own rock and I have it resting in the sand. I guess I will move the zoas and see if they feel better somewhere else.

Aiptasia can move just like any other anenome. This sucks when you think that you have killed one and it has just moved somewhere else.

There are no overweight fish. Some are just taken better care of than others. Keep up the good work! :)
