Well the problem with that is you can clean the water but an overstocked tank is a recipe for disaster.IMO:cry:

Just give it some time before the overstocked tank crashes.

Exactly, one problem and the whole thing has the potential to come crashing down.

6 years?! That's amazing... has it been stocked like that for most of it's lifetime with no ill effects??? I guess that's the thing about this hobby. There's always another way to do it. Some will agree with you, some will not. That's nuts

yeah, i guess he knows what hes doing.. its def a nice tank

no its just keeps getting stocked as time goes on and see a fish or two he likes...he does have 3 tanks all plumbed together i think around 1000 gallons all total.. its a pretty sick set up he has

but he has hella equipment, reactors, skimmers, dosers, auto water changes, multiple rodi units running at all times storing water and mixing water and doing water changes... i always ask him how much he has in this tank and he said he quit counting a few years ago at 35K$

Hey, I've seen my fair share of overstocked tanks, and sometimes it works for some ppl. What all does he have in that thing?
