What skimmer is good for biocube 29 to fit in the back chambers?
Also is having skimmer really needed? What does it help to do? Would it make my water more crystal clear?

Not too sure what skimmer would be best for a 29 bio cube. I would prob. suggest a HOB skimmer because most skimmers that would fit in the back may not perform very well. Protein skimmers in a nut shell, removes DOC (dissolved organic compounds) out of the water that can not be removed by other types of filtration. They are not mandatory but highly reccomended especially for reef tanks. I ran a 24 gal. nano for a few years without a skimmer but noticed improvements in my water quality once I added a skimmer. Do a little research on skimmers before you make a purchase. Hope this helps...good luck!

for added realism find someone with very bad flatulence and hot box it while watching.
