can i add peppermint shrimp w/ my coral banded shrimp? i love invert better then the fish. have 2 different types of urchins, flame scallop, red starfish, 4 ? emerald crabs on top of snails and hermits. but would like to add some more cleaner shrimp if possible.

Coral Banded Shrimp are generally aggressive and sometimes not reef safe. I would advise against it if you want to keep other shrimp.

What they said. Maybe if you had a huge tank, but not in most normal-to-large tanks.

IME i have had skunk cleaner, blood shrimp, pederson shrimp, peppermint shrimp, harlequin shrimp, A large decorator crab all living together peacefully. The coral banded is the solo artist from what i have read. I had those five different species in one tank and never a problem, in fact i noticed tendencies between the 4 different types of cleaners i had.

The skunks ate everything, sand, coral, fish, invert glass all around great cleaners.
the bloods liked to stay hidden and cleaned my fish alot and the rock but didnt touch the corals or inverts ever.
the pederson i caught only once cleaning a fish but cleans corals like no other invert ive had.
and the peppermints were great for atipstasia and other pests but never touched fish or corals or inverts.

so when i had the mix of them they all had different targets if what they wanted to clean so seeing them interact was cool, they need lots of territory so rock work with nooks and caves is good.

the harlequins are great for wiping out too many starfish and look awesome too.
thats my 2 cents since you mentioned you liked inverts and wanted some ideas on more cleaners.
